We live in the electronic and digital age. Our ways of communication have become faster and less more personal. We prefer to send e-mails rather than a handwritten note or letter. We prefer to send SMS text messages rather than call because it is cheaper. It seems as if the more we invest on personal communication, the less personal we have become.

It used to be that we would send out invitations to parties and events by mail. Now we are invited through e-mail or through an event in Facebook.
