Party Stuff and More

My student is a young entrepreneur. She is only 11 yet she already has her own shop that sells party stuff. Her mom told me that her daughter was the one who came up with the idea of investing in a business like theirs. Since she and her husband have the money to support their daughter, they decided to start the business.

I have visited my student’s shop and I learned that she is really very hands-on in overseeing the business. Her mom helps her in handling their daily profit and her dad accompanies her to the market in buying the products. Since they offer cheap party supplies, they were able to get a lot of regular customers right away. Most of these customers buy birthday party decorations. They have a variety of party themes to choose from like the safari, under the sea, and outer space. Party clowns and magicians are also available in their shop.

Hardwork and determination have made my student and her family succeed in their business. The support of each member of their family has also made a big part in the growth of their newly started endeavor. And because of these, it is no wonder that my student will eventually become one of the top entrepreneurs someday.

Arts and Crafts to Keep Kids Busy

I have been juggling a lot of work the past few days and although I am truly grateful, it takes away some time from my kids. So I have been scouting for things that could keep them busy. Since they love doing arts and crafts, I have been researching on more arts and crafts activities they could easily do at home.

One of the most interesting things I found is pottery. In fact, I myself got interested in trying it out. The AMACO/Brent website has everything I would ever need if I decide to try out pottery for me and my kids. I was hesitant at first to let my kids try their hands at pottery because I was not so sure how safe it is for them but reading about the lead-free Acmi glazes reassured me that my kids’ safety will not be compromised.

I think having my children try the air dry clays first is a good idea. Their clays are available in 8 colors and I am sure it could keep my kids busy for hours. As for me, maybe I will try my hand at pottery as well and who knows, I could be creating bisque ceramic wares soon.

The Letter is P.

I am Peggy and I love to delight and amuse myself with anything artistically visual. I spend many hours on Etsy and either send money, get frustrated because I do not have money and wish I was talented with anything other than having the talent to spot nice things.

Which I think all people inherently have.

I love to shop. I love to window shop. Online.
