eBay x CFDA Limited-Edition Tote Bag (You Can’t Fake Fashion Tote Bags)
You Can’t Fake Fashion tote bags (ALL of them) sold out after a couple of hours from its release in eBay. Im sure eBay’s receipt printer went crazy with orders! Look at the bags here. All 51 bags designed by top-notch designers were sold out in a matter of hours from its release! Amazing. I love the bags made by Tory Burch and Anna Sui the best – they retailed for $150 each, and though you cannot buy them anymore, you can the plain totes at a lesser price and even think of decorating them yourselves!

To help fight counterfeits and celebrate original design, eBay partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for a Fashion Vault sale featuring exclusive CFDA tote bags created by top designers, including The Row, Rodarte and 3.1 Phillip Lim. The CFDA designer totes ($150 each) were a huge hit and are all sold out but the plain tote is still available – and it’s just $35!
Mulberry Taylor Collection
I haven’t even owned an Alexa yet and here is Mulberry coming out with the Taylor Collection. You can say it is slightly similar to the Alexa without the flap, but the simplicity and ease of use (and carrying) are essentially the same. Who loves the green? I sure do! I never knew I can be addicted to bags like these, coveting designer bags I very well could not afford. It’s like I am on heroin detox everytime I realize I really can’t own right now.

How To Wear:

Tod’s D Bag
While my husband ogles at wrestlers and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), I will be ogling at more bags.
It is no question how Princess Diana was a fashion icon in her days. Now we have that in the form of the Duchess of Cambridge, Katherine. But it still won’t stop me from coveting the Tod’s D bag – inspired by how much Princess Diana loved this style of Tod bags. Derek Lam, the creator of the restyled D bag, even went as far as to claim that “”it will be for Tod’s what the Kelly bag is for Hermes”.
And you know what? I kind of agree with him.

Tods D-Bag Shopping | $1495
The Shopping D-Bag adds a nice twist with the optional shoulder strap. The contrast stitching shows off the sturdy leather and the seams break up the design of the bag. This bag screams classy working woman.

Tods D-Bag Bauletto | $1445
The shape is timeless and classic. A hand held bag should be part of every woman’s wardrobe. Consider the Bauletto as a contender.
Balenciaga Colorful Bags

One of my dreams when it comes to the bag department is to be able to own a Balenciaga even once in my lifetime. I am quite partial to the rose gold giant hardware so I was a bit saddened that it will be discontinued soon – my chances of owning a Bal this year is 0% (Hahaha) – it’s like constructing steel buildings in less than a month – so the only chance I can own a RGGH is to find pre-loved items or those that are sold online which will undoubtedly be higher since its going to go up in value.
The PurseBlog writes about it so well:
The stark light silver color provides and excellent contrast to the brand’s bright leathers, and I think that the contrast is missing with the regular dark brass grommets. I know that many people prefer the smaller accents, though, and luckily Balenciaga offers all of its bags with both options. Shop these Balenciaga styles ($1445 for regular hardware, $1795 for giant) via Barneys!
Hermes Kelly Paper Bag
I wonder if you can have Wholesale Insurance on Hermes bags. Remember the Hermes bag Lady Gaga had that she drew on? (Que horror) Well now Hermes came up with their own Kelly Paper bags.
Hermès has jumped on the DIY wagon with it’s free downloadable paper Hermès Kelly bag that you can decorate yourself or choose from a variety of designed prints. (To get there, go to the Hermès homepage and click on the thumbnail in the middle that says “i want it, i’ll have it!” along with the image of a blank white bag.) If you are particularly crafty, you could use the template to make your own version of the bag in fabric.

Messenger Bags
I cannot seem to get these types of bags out of mind right now, even if I should be learning the basics of hydroponics as we need to grow plants for my son’s summer science project.
This is the Lanvin “Dear Danae” Convertible Washed-Leather and Python Bag. Did I just hear someone swoon?

And this is the Croc Proenza PS 1:

I told you they were more than nice!
Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign
I love this ad campaign! It’s sexy and classy at the same. And though the models are gorgeous I am still drawn very much to the bag! I love women bags and this one has a lot of room – perfect for just throwing everything even the kitchen sink in!
I saw a Bottega Veneta bag from a friend who bought her first and it was really nice. You can really say it is a classic piece.
Balenciaga Spring 2011 Bags Collection
Which one is your bet?
I have yet to see the new collection in real life (waiting for my friends to have one so I can “see” – I know I cannot own one for now), but I am loving the pink and white shades. Maybe I can spot one when I am out shopping for compression stockings for my mother in law, who knows? Balenciaga is known for its unique and limited edition color shades so I am sure these ones will be a hit.

Trendy Handbags for Moms
I love handbags. I collect them, and every season I watch the trends to see what is new and hot. Each year, trendy bags come in all sorts of colors, sizes and styles. There is usually something that will work for every woman. But lately I’ve noticed something – a lot of young women who used to follow handbag trends almost as closely as me are having babies. And when the baby comes along, they are ditching their amazing bags for ugly, yet functional mom purses.
But there is hope! I’ve done some research and I’ve figured out what new moms need in a purse, and how they can have it and still be fashionable.
I know the most important feature a new mom needs is space in her handbag. I have great news – every season’s crop of in-style bags includes some very roomy styles. You can even carry a day bag that’s nearly as large as a luggage carry-on. In fact, it’s very trendy to carry a big bag.
Moms also need their bags to work hard by offering a lot of organizational features. Unfortunately, this is the trap most moms fall into. In their quest for lots of pockets and dividers they often end up with something boxy and business-like. The good news is that many of today’s hot handbags include plenty of outside and inside pockets with lots of room for all the things a baby or small child needs.
If you are a working mom, you can select a very beautiful handbag that fulfills all your needs. Slightly more structured bags are making a comeback, so you can choose something that not only has room for everything you need as a mom, but also has room for files and other things you might need to carry to and from work.
Take heart, new moms! You can have it all.
