Evening Dresses from Jessica Iverson

They say that a lady’s wedding dress should be the best dress she will ever own in her whole life. That is why most women spend a lot of time and do not regret spending a lot of money on their bridal gowns. Being a plus-sized woman, I am thankful that there are so many fashionable evening dresses these days that I can use. They key to making the best dresses for women is to find her silhouette – it is always in the fit of the dress. It also important that the key features are enhanced and not-so-pretty flaws hidden.

Jessica Iverson has discovered this secret. In this age where getting pregnant before marriage has been slowly gaining acceptance, there is also a demand for maternity dresses that can serve as wedding dresses too. Even bridesmaid dresses should cater to the plus-sized and even pregnant women! The key is to remember that maternity wedding gowns are especially designed today to accommodate beautiful pregnancy curves and enhance, not hide, the pregnancy bump and glow!

When looking for maternity bridal gowns, make your sizing selection based on your pre-pregnancy size. Dresses and gowns are cut to flatter your pregnancy shape but your “size” remains the same. White stretch lace maternity bridal gowns with a silky white liner are a perfect fit for your growing body. Fully-lined dresses with support under the bust accentuate your shape. You may want to choose from designer styles like Italian, Empire, Renaissance, or Titanic gowns, which are perfect for moms-to-be!

Collections Worth Spending On

My grandmother is a collector of coins. She has collected coins since she was young, 1930s and one of her most precious collection is a coin dated as far back as 1898 – our country’s year of independence. I am sure her coin collection is worth more than what is was for twenty years ago. These types of collection, things that have greater value in the years to come, is something worth spending on. It reminds me of keeping the arrhae coins I got from my wedding. It was made of 12 pieces of gold coins – a US dollar commemorative.

When my son gets married, it will make for a very precious arrhae!

Looking for a Unique Wedding Vehicle? Try the LA Party Bus

When we got married, one of the things that I did not focus on is our wedding car. We rented the traditional wedding car and it did not occur to me to think of a more unique alternative. For those who are getting married soon, the Los Angeles party bus is a great alternative. Although it may seem too humongous for just the newlywed couple, it is a great idea if you are willing to share it with members of your entourage. Another option is to rent an LA party bus just for family members and the entourage and then the newlywed couple can rent another wedding vehicle just for the two of them. Buses of different capacities are available so you could rent one based on your preference and need. No need to get stuck with a huge bus if you only need one for 20 people.

The Los Angeles party bus rental is becoming popular as well in the wedding industry. They have professional and courteous chauffeurs and you can be assured of on time service so that you do not have to worry about any of your entourage being late for the ceremony. Their buses are new, clean, and stylish so that your entourage and family members could comfortably enjoy the ride.

Now I am no longer surprised why designer brands invest millions on business printing advertisements. Look at this beauty – one look and you instantly would want to buy it (never mind the stilettos and how much it might hurt after walking in them for four hours!)

iPhone4G

iPhone4G

A few friends recently upgraded their current iPhones to iPhone4G – and they are raving about the increased sharpness of photos taken by the camera and the ability to organize apps in folders. I don’t see myself upgrading anytime soon even if I do not have an iphone warranty on my iPhone3Gs. I am quite satisfied with it and I hope it will last and won’t give up on me for a long, long, long time – until such time friends will sell their used iPhone4G :)

Lamps for Kids

Decorate your kids’ rooms and let them be able to sleep soundly without being scared of the dark with these adorable kid lamps. You would not need to install an exit alarm at your kids’ rooms every time they would get scared as they won’t, especially with these subdued lighting.

For your little girls:

Gold Facts

Did you know that I learned about investing in gold and other precious metals through Facebook? The United States Gold Bureau has a page and from there I read about investing in gold. I found out many things.

1.  Gold is a very liquid asset – its value has never been known to depreciate and is even steadily increasing throughout the years.

2. Gold and silver (and precious metals) have been increasing in value ever since its demand increased than its supply in the world market.

3. Gold has always been a measure of one’s wealth and was even used for trade. Now, you can invest it in the form of bullion or coin form.

The Letter is P.

I am Peggy and I love to delight and amuse myself with anything artistically visual. I spend many hours on Etsy and either send money, get frustrated because I do not have money and wish I was talented with anything other than having the talent to spot nice things.

Which I think all people inherently have.

I love to shop. I love to window shop. Online.
